Following the attainment of scientific maturity during her time at the Giacomo-Ulivi high school in Parma,[1] she was enrolled in the fashion school at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan for a year, prior to quitting her studies. In 2008, Benedetta Mazza was noticed by the Miss Italia regional selector, who encouraged her to take part in the beauty contest.
