Emily Bett Rickards, born on July 24 of 1991, in Canada. She is a Canadian actor, best recognized for her role as Felicity Smoak on The CW TV series Arrow. Rickards grew up living in British Columbia. Her career began from a young age she began to explore musical theatre and dance, with the hope of later introducing herself to more serious acting. Her high school graduation was before the age of 18, and then attended Vancouver Film School, completing the Acting Essentials program. In the open call which followed it was discovered that an agent had been found for her. Alida Vocal Studio is located in Vancouver. Her initial intention was to appear in one episode however, her overwhelmingly positive reviews from viewers and her ability to joke led her firstly, as a guest-star and later, as a co-star for the rest of season 1.
