Harry Edward Styles - also known as Harry Styles - is a British musician as well as a composer. Harry Styles has been recognized for his compositions to The One Direction band. In Holmes Chapel in Cheshire England Styles is the son of Des Styles & Anne Cox. Harry Styles, a former student of the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School was the founder of a band called White Eskimo with three fellow students. The band won in 2009's Battle of Bands thanks to the excellent presentation they gave. While he's always fascinated by the arts, he aspired to become an attorney or physical therapist. For a while he worked part-time in a bakery in the city he lived in with the aim of helping people financially in the home. Harry Styles, in 2010 was a contestant on The X Factor. His single Is not She Lovely was and was performed by Stevie Wonder. Due to this, the group he was in had to be separated. Nicole Scherzinger told Harry Styles, Liam Payne Zayn Milik Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson that they'd be forming the group One Direction after the X Factor audition. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in the year 2010. They performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would be Sucking Without You together with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. As a result, they made it to the finalist. They came third, a place behind Rebecca Ferguson. Harry Styles, his group as well as Cowell did not get the win in the contest. However, Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million pounds contract with Syco.
